Marvin James is an educator + facilitator who piloted a 10-week course with 8 students through Loyola Marymount University.
His curriculum for “The Creative Economy” investigated a convergence occurring between creative industries and the effect on companies and occupations that participate in the production of ideas.
The course was made up of workshops, conversations, and presentations. Below you’ll find a mix of on-screen prompts designed to guide the students throughout the semester. Below that is feedback from a student that gives perspective to the potential impact of this course.
